Hardaway gave UofM a one-time gift of 1M in 2007. He was not a booster in the sense anyone uses the word.
The hell it isn't. It's a deferred sentence.

Also, I forgot that Wiseman was never ruled ineligible before he decided after three games to leave the team.
The NCAA cleared him and told UofM he was eligible the summer before the season.
Meanwhile other schools are openly paying recruits and don't get any punishment.
Three years probation, fines, vacated games, any punishment is undeserved.
Not to even fricking mention that when Wiseman was a recruit, and Hardaway was still his HS HC, he was advising Wiseman to NOT play for Tubby Smith at Memphis.
