Not a Cantrell supporter at all and hope she gets recalled. But I will answer your question:

Her first two years as mayor were not awful. I think hiring Korban to run the SWB was a good move and a massive upgrade from the politically connected operators that had been running it. Her getting a bigger slice of hotel/motel tax money for the general city operations was a real political win for the city that took some real skill. Initial announcements to get entergy to directly supply power to the SWB were movement in the right direction. She royally screwed up the police chief search and hiring, although crime continued to call through 2019.

Then covid happened and things, as they say, fell apart. She is also very crass, probably an alcoholic and clearly has loose scruples so she was probably always destined to have a crash landing.

Is there a signature count update on the recall?
