In the 30+ years my folks have lived in Cobb County, I can't recall anything this bad happening. The only two things I can think of were 15-20 years ago or more, an escaped prisoner on the loose and another barricade situation. This makes me sad for my hometown. RIP to those Sheriff's Deputies. This sucks.

Yep. Very few things like this ever happen in Cobb. Sad night for all involved and the community.
