I have done this 3 times and when they take their last breath with you there it's as if they are at peace free of the pain. I sit there with them for at least 5 mins with memories flashing and crying like a baby. Probably all 3 times is probably the most i have cried in my entire life. Not ashamed to say it.

absolutely. whenever i have to go through this it feels like you're also getting the grief out over things you maybe didn't properly process at the time. another little favor dogs do us
