While superficially, this looks like a hopelessly and needlessly pessimistic take. However, we know you're right because there is no move to finish off Brandon by McCarthy or Mitch. No effort for a new "Contract with America". They're just running out the clock against the toothless old man. They could be, with just a little push, making some competitive races lean R and some lean D seats more competitive. Force the Dems to play defense.

But, they aren't. And they're going to blame the MAGA folks whom they stabbed in the back for 4 years for daring to vote someone on the unapproved list.
