Hard to believe he died if they haven't found a body, a parachute, or the majority of the money (believe they only found 5,800 dollars washed down the river. If they found one of those things I would definitely say he died on the jump.

In the 70s and 80s if you went anywhere besides Canada and the US and paid for meals, drinks, etc. in cash I have a hard time believing that serial numbers on 20 dollar bills would be recorded and the information sent to the US Government. Maybe I'm wrong though.
