It isn’t government’s role to legislate culture.
Government has 3 roles:
1. Provide for military defense of the nation
2. Enforce contracts between individuals
3. Police/protect citizens from crimes against themselves or their property

I agree WHICH is why I vote for Democrats.
It doesn't matter to me what bathroom transvestites decide to use. As long as they don't personally bother me, why should I care what they choose to do with their own body?
Why should abortion be made illegal on a federal level as some Republicans have proposed?
It's not an issue that particularly motivates me but it's not an issue I think needs to be made illegal.
But government absolutely *influences* culture through non-legislative means. Trump has an influence on culture much like Biden has an influence on American culture.
