They are running the orange conduit along the main highway now. Installed one of those big brown boxes in the ground in front of our street this week where the conduit was sticking up out of the ground last week.

Depending on your location, AT&T is supposed to be phasing out it overhead lines and switching to inground wiring.
Hurricane Ida made them made them to decide to bury all fiber optic cables after the storm in Southeast Louisiana.
