Hellll NO! The #1 reason I moved to the mountains of Vermont was to escape the heat from living in La, AZ & SC. The extreme cold in winter does not bother me one bit. I am loving the fact that several days so far this July we have had high temps in the mid-70s and 3 days ago I woke up to 43! Once the temp gets into the 70s I am looking to turn on the AC and avoid going outside. If there is a decent breeze I am okay with mid to upper 70s, but that's my limit. I will take 6 months of below freezing over just 3 months over 80 every single time.
