Lee Trevino made the comment early in Tigers career that if he kept swinging like that he would have back problems when he got a little older. It appears he was at least partially correct.
Of course Tiger parlayed that swing into a bunch of wins and majors and more money than he can hardly spend so he did pretty damn good for himself
