We present a series of 5 patients with de novo MS diagnoses following recent mRNA COVID-19 vaccination. The causality of vaccination and onset of MS cannot be determined. Based on these cases we cannot conclude whether vaccination represents a trigger in an otherwise predisposed or pre-symptomatic MS phase versus a purely spurious result as a consequence of vaccination in a very large proportion of the population, where incident cases occur independent of vaccination.
