I've never been to a gas station bush enough to warrant this except Buccee's on memorial day weekend. I've frequented many metro areas so its not like i stay in small towns

The gas station closest to my house (in a metro area) stays pretty busy. OP’s advice would absolutely apply.

Watched a guy the other day pump his gas, clean the windshield, and then go inside (was still inside by the time I was done pumping myself) while people were waiting for a pump. It’s fricking rude.
