This is just more click bait headlines.

Editor: Do we have anything sensational today about Uvalde?
Reporter: Not really. They just asked us to leave their parking lot.
Editor: RUN WITH IT!!

I totally get the anger. The officers totally fricked up beyond any measure. They then looked totally incompetent by changing their interpretation of the order of events. When they decide to finally slow down and do a proper investigation like they shouldve done in the first place, they are accused of avoiding the press.

They deserve every bit of the criticism they have earned. The press propping up a straw man about how they are not allowed to camp out in a parking lot is just petty.
