It’s pretty rare for guys to look mediocre to bad as a QB in NFL for multiple years and then suddenly become MVP. Is there an example of this or are you saying he will be the first ever?

Yes, it shows that Tua was mentally weak and that Flores was a raging asshat.
The Dolphins management wanted Tua, but Flores never did. Flores was dead set on getting Watson, but GM couldn’t move on it because of the unknown surrounding the case.
Basically you had a mentally weak QB mixed with a bad HC that didn’t want him and so Tua was completely different than what we know him as.
Tua definitely needs to man up, but that’s a lot easier to do when you have a stable OL, elite WRs and a HC that will bring the best from you.
