A guy making money off appearances and jersey sales is one thing. Bidding on high school recruits is going to make it an unsustainable arms race.
None of this has to do with the players. It’s the adults giving them the money that is the issue.
I’m not saying you are but there are a ton of people that are angry at the kids and not the adults. The kids are just taking what they are offered and are smart enough to use the adults against each other to get more. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.

Did you see what Boutte did this year?
Yes, some of it is on the players. Key players will renegotiate every year or walk.
You can't build programs around that and it destroys locker rooms.
Players jumping ship via free agency is 100% on the players. You can't separate that from NIL today.
