The only reasonable places to reply, to me, in the case of directly replying to nobody, is the last post or the original post.

I went with the last on this occasion.

So, on a platform that forces a user to reply to somebody, you find it reasonable to assume that someone posting a message to "everybody" is directing a message at you?

I'd have to conclude that you're not a reasonable person in this instance.
