Where can I get crickets near Henderson Lake? I've never fished there and was planning to try to fish that way this weekend for the first time.

I was thinking of fishing there this weekend too. Is lake Martin less muddy?

If we are referring to the same Henderson, all of the c Stores sell bait.

Also pretty early for Bream at Henderson. Not saying you cant catch a few but not the right time to really burn them up. lake martin will be much less muddy right now.

Henderson is pretty high right now and muddy. Not saying you can’t catch fish there but if it’ll be your first outing there, I’d look elsewhere for the time being.

Lake Martin may be a better option. Will probably be crowded after that 11+ lb bass was reported, though.

Cold front may make things a little slow. Good luck.
