Has anybody had any experience with NuCanoe, particularly the frontier 12? It's about time for me to get a new kayak and I was looking at this one. I use my kayak for everything - freshwater, saltwater marsh, duck hunting, etc. Just wanted to see if anybody had anything good or bad to say on here before I pull the trigger.

I’ve sat in them at pack and paddle, the seat is really high but comfortable… you’d have to have a really long paddle to get the blade in the water it would seem. If you get the pedal or troll motor option seems like this would be less of a concern, but YouTube videos make it seem like it is hard to maneuver with just paddle.

I’m looking at old town sportsman 120

I got the Frontier 12 a year ago and happy with it. It is very stable and has high weight capacity at 650 lbs. It does require a long paddle because of the extra width. Pack and Paddle was great and set it up for me, including wiring it for a trolling motor.
