i feel like there's some correlation between the things going on around the program the past 2 seasons and the way some highly touted local kids are looking to leave the state. (obviously the coaching change played a decision). But I think with guys like moss and other who left the last cycle, they were seeing closer than the rest of us just how bad the culture around football ops had gotten.

Yeah, but this isn't a recent issue. It has been a problem for years even when Miles was here. Anyone remember guys like Williams leaving for Bama and being very productive for them? He was basically sitting on LSU's campus and just left. For some reason we can't recruit the blue chips sitting on LSU's doorstep. It feels like we strike out more often than we don't like they can't wait to get out of there.
