Range generally refers to the distance a plane can fly on a tank of gas. And the F-16 can’t go very far with any extra weight like bombs on it. The Ukrainians to my knowledge don’t have any aerial refueling capabilities. It’s an absolutely terrible CAS platform. The design is just as old as most of the Soviet era fighters already in theater. It’s more difficult to maintain. It can’t handle rough runways.

Just not sure what all the hubbub is about. I really don’t see it making a huge impact. Money would be better spent on ATACMS/HIMARS, air defense systems and arty rounds.
