It definitely should be a transparent list and letters sent to the person being put on it along with a process for getting off the list. Lawyer, court or whatever. And what evidence was given that the person was unruly.

The flight attendant, pilot or air marshal should sign an affidavit - like those who saw election irregularities and fraud and put themselves legally on the line.

Any list like this is a dangerous and powerful tool or weapon. Tread lightly.

Mask below nose? Poof, you never can fly again. This might be a bridge too far.

agree with all of this....some of these assholes who assault stewardesses or fight on planes deserve a ban and a process to get reinstated.

Private companies can ban customers, that is their business, but your asking the government to restrict your ability to travel.

It’s going to be abused. And it changes the premise, from you have the right to travel, to you have their permission to travel.

Imagine having your flying privilege suspended, because your ex wife says you haven’t paid your child support.

It also ignores the problem, stewardesses are acting like jailers, masks trigger a fight or flight response, and hyper aggressive behavior in some, and that we have laws to punish people already, like laws forbidding assault.
