re: German Shepherds as Pets (with cats, small dogs, and kids)

I have a 13 year old GSD. Most loyal dog I'll ever have. They'll chew a lot as puppies so you got to make sure they get plenty of exercise. Also, socialize the puppy as much as you can. If you raise the dog right it won't be aggressive but will definitely protect your family.

Also prepare thy anus for the shedding.

ETA: I also have two cats and they get along just fine. She's never been aggressive toward them cause she knows they are part of the family.
