How about Staley saying that Fargas would still be here if the crowd supported her like they do Mulkey.
Yeah...nice play of the race card without coming right out and saying it...
Honestly didn't surprise me at all coming from Staley. She acted pompous all night on the sidelines, especially with the wearing of the mask, yet every time she spoke she had it pulled down to her chin... She is just salty Nikki is gone and it's Mulkey, who will be a way bigger challenge for her now. She also basically said LSU only played so well bc of the energy and support in the building. Gave Mulkey very little credit for coaching well. Said we were just as good under Nikki but didn't win bc of lack of "support".

South Carolina is this years Rutgers in womens BB. If you look at the programs/coaches that sustain the highest level of play over a long period of time you will see UCONN, Notre Dame, Stanford, and Baylor (with Mulkey). Some are successful to a lesser degree but these four have been the dominating forces.
Rutgers was good for a few years then went away.
This is South Carolina. Mulkey's back in town.
