Our seven year old is on it and honestly, it’s the best thing we ever did. Any change in the weather sent her into a week of coughing, all day and all through the night. She has only had a cough twice since we started and we are about a year in.

Thankfully we have not seen any of the side effects listed, we had the same concerns. We give it at night with no issues (they recommend night because that’s when coughs typically flare up). Hope it helps if y’all decide to start it.
