re: Name something crazy your dad had you do growing up

One time when I was 11 or 12 my dad and I set out a trout line in a small lake at our old camp. A few hours after dark I"m half asleep on the couch when dad gets up and says time to go check it. Normally we'd leave it over night but dad had a feeling that it was full of catfish. Get to our john boat that had to be decades old and start paddling out. It's mid august, dark, humid, and mosquitos everywhere. Well dad hits a stump or something and this pos boat starts leaking. "Well hell, hole is at the base of the middle seat. Put your hand on it." I spend the next hour and a half sitting in water at the bottom of the boat with my hand over the hole. Oh and every fish we caught dad would just throw it in the front with me.
