what do you do with positive tests during the season

what protocol will be put in place during football season when someone on the team has covid? will the entire team have to quarantine for 14 days? this is gonna be a disaster. imagine you're playing in a title game and someone on the team has covid? any thoughts?

Infect the other team. Both teams can then quarantine on the field together

If a player is suspended for Covid and weed, do the suspensions run consecutively or concurrently?
