In the PAC (insert #) they'll be regarded inferior behind Texas and USC. If they joined the SEC they'd be a force in whichever division the SEC ends up with.

I wouldn't be surprised if OU's experience in 2004 doesn't have something to do with it. I think they feel they are more civilized for lack of a better word

Because they are choir boys who don't like sleazy SEC recruiting. ;)

Texas A&M departure would leave future of Big 12 a Big Mes

Besides, why does anyone think the SEC would stop at A&M? If the SEC needs another team for its western frontier, Missouri's bags are packed.

The Sooners aren't a candidate. That's one thing they all agree at OU; no one wants any part of the SEC recruiting culture.

Which takes OU, and probably OSU, back to the Pac-whatever.

Yep especially since you think OU is afraid to join the SEC.

It's not about fear, but the green. OU/OSU/UT/TTU playing in the PAC-16 in the four team divisions makes sense when it comes to money matters.

If not the PAC-16, staying in a very watered down Big-12 own their terms makes even more sense money wise.

You make some valid points but I'm going to go with answer C: your mom is a whore.

I agree, if UT does not back off their TV deal and the Pac-10 allows UT to keep their deal.

Okie schools have a home here, but I doubt UT has the balls to stand fast to their TV deal, so compromise w/ OU is inevitable imo.

DP - LHN is not a sole proprietorship - their partner in crime, ESPN, is driving the boat cher.

I realize that and that is why the BIG-12 is imploding!

See Big-10 or SEC on how to handle TV deals.

UT went rogue and are paying for it. Other schools are using it against them. shite happens.
