When thinking about what moves (if any) would be necessary to keep us at the top, what are the thoughts about what defines the 'greatest' conference?

1. Profitability?
2. Championships?
3. Most competitive teams at the top tier?
4. Most competitive teams top to bottom?
5. Passion / size of the fanbase?
6. Best venues / tailgating?
7. Best facilities

I know they are all critical, but what is the priority of what the SEC needs to maintain its superiority?
I think if you have 5, the others fall into place. if you don't have 5, you will never achieve the others. Therefore, if thats the case, we should only consider the teams with the largest and most passionate fan bases in America. This, combined with geography, leads me to believe our best options are Texas, OU, and TAMU for west candidates and Clemson and FSU for east candidates.

Does it begin with the letter 'S', and end with the letters 'E' & 'C'?
