I think this oil spill may be the beginning of the end. It's washing up on the beaches of SEC states gravely affecting the seafood, oil, and tourism industries. This may be the start of some seriously hard times in the gulf coast states. Florida will be fine due to more diversification in the economy but La, Miss, and Alabama? Not so much I'm afraid.
