Ha, I wont go that far. But it is in their best intere$$$t for texas to succeed at our expense. They would love to see our recruiting go back down to where it was in previous years allowing texas to get more 5 star blue chip recruits than ever. They will pimp their product (texas) at all costs. It is really unhealthy for CFB as a whole imo and i hope the LHN crashes and burns.

This is just paranoid & weird. Texas recruited very well before the LHN. Also, the state of Texas produces about 400 FBS football players a year and the Horns can only take about 20. LHN is all about $.....any honest assessment will reveal that it is not a game changer in terms of recruiting.

The strangest part in the aggie belief that LHn will radically change recruiting is their belief that it goes away if they leave the conference. It doesn't. LHN is still doing its thing.

The LHN won't change, but we believe differentiating ourselves as the lone texas school in the best conference in the nation will help combat it's effects. Why is it paranoid to expect a large company (ESPN) to act in their best financial interests and pimp their product (ut football)??? Isn't that what most companies do? You cant deny that A&M is on the rise after a dry spell under Fran (who almost killed our program) and that texas is barely squeaking by against the likes of BYU at home and just doing all they can to make ANY bowl this yr. This is NOT GOOD for ESPN.

According to public statements by A&M President Loftin...one of the main reasons we are leaving this joke of a conference is to increase our national exposure. It's pretty simple.

I am not knocking you guys...do what you do...it's all about the $$$. We just see the writing on the wall. And so did Nebraska and Colorado.

To be honest, I am just pissed/dissapointed that our game is at 2:30pm this saturday. Kyle Field is most rockin at night after everyone has been tailgating all day and the heat has subsided. I was really banking on a 7pm game this weekend. But i will be there regardless yelling my lungs out.

They are saving it for another game. This is WVU's only shot at Gameday.

LSU is going to beat them by 2-3 times the spread.

What other game would they cover at Kyle...Baylor? Mizzou???

I still think they are idiots for passing this game up, sorry.

Probably Baylor or they will sue Gameday.

Wow.....it is almost sad how OU got played in all of this:

LINK

quote:

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott had given OU assurances that the Sooners would be accepted into the league, with or without Texas. Turns out that wasn't the case. The plan all along was to add the foursome of OU, OSU, Texas Tech and Texas, and when Scott failed to get guarantees that Texas would back an equal revenue sharing plan, he pulled the plug on the deal.

OU got the rug completely pulled out from under them. Scott looks horrible for misleading a team like this.

So not only is OU upset at the logistics of the LHN deal, the same LHN deal gets them screwed out of joining a new conference. They just need to cut the cord from Okie State now.
