Interesting statement, which has some truth to it. They lose strength w/o Nebraska, & also $$ without a conference championship game. If Texas has an off year with a couple of loses to lesser teams, then their conference credibility is reduced to almost nothing, because then likely OK would win out in a powderpuff conference. I think A&M was scared off from joining the SEC by some higer office 'good old boys'. Once again, A&M becomes second fiddle to UT...I don't see how their decision benefits A&M at all. Screw all that divisional rivarly stuff with other Texas schools, in Texas, it's always been about A&M/UT only, with A&M always to remain in the shadow, even when they had a chance to make a statement. Do you think Ark. ever regretted leaving the SWC for the SEC?? I don't think so...

Yes, he sounds like a pissed Irishman. I can't believe he linked that newspaper article from Oklahoma, that only cements fans dislike for him. The heat is really on these guys and I hope it continues. Everything I read keeps revealing what a great fit Texas A&M would be for the SEC. The Aggie Fan base would be energized and sellouts at Kyle Field would be a regular. Isn't that what it's all about?

I was thinking the same thing....A&M join SEC and Kyle Field would sell out no problem...specially for LSU games.
