Walsh Out as Knicks President of Operations
by Larry Leo
June 3, 20110 Comments
According to ESPN, New York Knicks president of operations Donnie Walsh has come to a mutual agreement with team owner James Dolan to leave his position at the end of June, but will remain with the team as a consultant for the 2011-12 season.
quote:Interesting, seeing as he is in the process of rebuilding this team with Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire, with the potential of adding even more free agents this off season.
"In a relatively short time with the Knicks, Donnie made a tremendous impact, which will be felt for many years to come," Dolan said. "We thank Donnie for his leadership, hard work and many contributions to the revitalization of the team."
