According to ESPN, New York Knicks president of operations Donnie Walsh has come to a mutual agreement with team owner James Dolan to leave his position at the end of June, but will remain with the team as a consultant for the 2011-12 season.
quote:

"In a relatively short time with the Knicks, Donnie made a tremendous impact, which will be felt for many years to come," Dolan said. "We thank Donnie for his leadership, hard work and many contributions to the revitalization of the team."
Interesting, seeing as he is in the process of rebuilding this team with Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire, with the potential of adding even more free agents this off season.
