Miles Names Kragthorpe Offensive Coordinator
Les Miles announced on Thursday that Steve Kragthorpe will be the new offensive coordinator for LSU. Kragthorpe comes to LSU after taking a year off from coaching. Prior to head coaching stints at Tulsa and Louisville, he was the offensive coordinator for Texas A&M. You can read his bio here.
Kragthorpe has good ties to recruiting in Texas, which should prove beneficial. He also has a strong background coaching QB's and is expected to install a run-oriented, pro style system that suits our personnel.
