LSU running back Leonard Fournette met with the media on Monday for the first time since SEC Media Days back on July 14 in Hoover, Ala and was asked about his recent ankle injury.

Fournette said the injury happened when linebacker Donnie Alexander tackled him from behind and fell on his ankle. Everyone on the team went dead silent and the music at practice even cut off.

Donnie Alexander would be booted out of town had he given LF a season ending injury ??

First off, the man didn't mean to hurt LF. It wasn't a dirty play. Second, we are so freaking thin at LB we can't afford it.

I think it would be awesome if the team did the Lambo leap together after the win.
