LSU sophomore linebacker Devin White was named SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Monday by the league. White led the team with 13 tackles and added a sack and a pass break up in Saturday's road win over Florida.

Alabama's Minkah Fitzpatrick was the other co-defensive player of the week. Per SECSports.com:

-Led LSU with 13 tackles in the Tigers' 17-16 road win over Florida in Gainesville.
Added a sack for an 8-yard loss and a pass breakup in the win.

-Batted down a Florida pass on fourth-and-three on the Gators' final possession of the game, sealing the win for the Tigers.

-Registered his fourth straight double-figure tackle game ... Paced an LSU defense that held Florida to just 302 total yards and recorded five sacks.

-LSU held Florida to 2-of-8 on third-down conversion attempts and limited the Gators to 54 plays and 26 minutes and 10 seconds of possession time.

-Holding onto a 1-point lead going into fourth quarter, LSU's defense held the Gators to just 24 yards and one first down on their three fourth-quarter possessions.

My only problem is the "co" part.....who the heck had as good a game defensively as Devin? He was OUTSTANDING!!
