Three-star safety Joseph Foucha from New Orleans has set his official visit to Baton Rouge for January 12-14.

Foucha, a 5-11, 193-pound prospect from McDonogh 35 is rated the No. 34 safety in the country and No. 16 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports.

In August, Foucha announced that his top schools are Auburn, Arizona State, Alabama, Florida State, Kansas, LSU, and Arkansas. He is expected to announce his decision on National Signing Day on Feb. 7.

I really wish we could get some DB’s over 6’ tall. It’s such an advantage against bigger receivers. Speed makes up for a lot, but the receivers are now 6’4” and can run a 4.4 40yd. dash! I trust Coach Raymond in whoever he recruits and welcome all recruits, regardless of size. Just saying
