Report: Florida Set To Hire Defensive Coordinator From FCS Level

According to multiple reports, Florida is expected to hire Wofford co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Jonathan Saxon to Jon Sumrall's first-year staff in Gainesville.
Saxon will serve as an assistant coach working with Gators defensive line coach Gerald Chatman.
Saxon has been at Wofford since 2023 and spent eight years on the coaching staff at South Carolina State before joining the Terriers.
