Posted by Daveeed on 3/30/24 at 2:37 pm
Anyone here have experience or recommendations for places to stay in upper peninsula Michigan? Our family of four (kids are 9 and 4) will be up that way at end of June and hoping to spend a few days there. Preferably a cabin or resort with lake access. ...

The Woodlands Resort is a favorite of my family. There is a water park with multiple pools, slides, and lazy river. Also has all of the golf and tennis sports. I think you can rent lake equipment too. ...

If you enjoy baseball, the last two weeks of June line up for home games for Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, and Twins. This would let you spend a few days in Chicago, then Wisconsin, and then Minnesota. If you start in Michigan, you could probably add of your desired states in that itenary in some capac...
You need to speak to a family law attorney about the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. It will likely control the jurisdiction question between essentially three different states. Also, your ex wife likely has an inconvenient forum argument if you try to proceed in Texas, espec...
You can hike up Mount Royal for great views. The Museum of Archaeology & History is interesting. Makes connections to the establishment of Louisiana. Easy to stroll through Old Montreal, go to Notre Dame Cathedral. I think my favorite thing was working my way through Marche Atwater and trying...

I’d recommend Le Centre Sheraton. It’s a block away from the Bell Centre where the Canadiens play. Depending on weather you can hike up Mount Royal for great views. The Museum of Archaeology & History is interesting. Makes connections to the establishment of Louisiana. Stroll through Old Montreal, g...

For hotels, the Renaissance Waverly is in a perfect spot. There is a pedestrian bridge that links directly into The Battery. No need to drive and park anywhere else. The Georgia Aquarium downtown is world-class. Recommend doing the behind-the-scenes tour. There is also the World of Coke Museum an...

re: Quebec City in December

I don't have any information specific to Quebec City, but I spent a week in Montreal this past December. The weather was fine, temps in Mid 30s - 40's, down into 20's at night. Montreal had not received any snow at that point in the season yet, so everyone said it was a good time to visit. All the m...

Stay anywhere along Magnificent Mile. I stayed at Marriot Magnificent Mile on Michigan Ave. All of the stores are decorated for Christmas. You can take the Red Line anywhere you need to go from there. Check out the Christkindlmarkets, which are German-style Christmas markets. One is in Daley Plaza, ...

At the same price, get the 615. But I’d suggest looking for the same blower with a 5.0 battery, which will last a lot longer. ...

re: Any sales on Ego string trimmers.

Lowes has the power load trimmer on sale for $229. I think it’s $20 off normal price. BUT it comes with a 2.5 battery, if that matters. I recommend waiting on a deal for one with the 5.0 battery. ...
A living Will is a document about end of life treatment that basically says the person does not want to be kept on life support. It has nothing to do with a succession or transfer of property. As for what you’re asking about, a succession will typically need to be opened. If there is no Will, t...
