I'm sure both with have equally unremarkable careers ...

re: MT13 “likes” a telling tweet

Nonsense... I don't see the FO risking further injury on their $100 mil WR.
MT probably got a few different opinions, and shared them with the FO. I'm sure they then asked MT, "hey can you go?" in which MT replied "yes." Highly doubt we would urge any player to play thru injury that requires sur...

There's actually just as good, if not a better chance, that the connection happens in Green Bay......
re: Why arent baun and ruiz playing?
Posted by 4thandinches on 10/1/20 at 1:45 pm
Ruiz has been out there and will start this week with Peat out.
Baun, I haven't seen. I know he started the season injured. I don't know his status now. I think he's just struggling to get on the field with Demario and Anzalone ahead of him. ...
I am sick of our DBs grabbing receivers they have good coverage on.
Our DBs don't even attempt to find the ball. DB's in general don't look for the ball now-a-days. It's a league-wide phenomena. It's especially true for our guys though. Marcus Williams' PI in the GB game was pathet...

Not to mention after all the heat from the no-call in the NFC ship. In reality, it was just one or two guys that missed it, but we were so pissed off, we generalized the entire NFLRA. I'm sure the guys who weren't even on the field for that probably felt some type of way about being blamed.
That ...

Hard to believe he's making more than Peat this year. That will obviously change next year....

Peat can play guard and tackle. He's got continuity with the line and far more athletic than Easton. Let me know next time you see Easton slide out on a screen or even pull. Peat fits what we want to do on offense.

The 2 Most Important Issues for Us
Posted by 4thandinches on 10/1/20 at 11:50 am
Discipline and the guard play.
First of all. GB is a good team. Rodgers is great. They'll be there at the end. Losing this game was always within the realm of possibility.
The real issues are the guard play and discipline. The penalties are unacceptable, nothing more to say there. Secondly, GB...

re: Can someone tell me what is the point of this article in nola.com?
Posted by 4thandinches on 9/21/20 at 9:35 am
Hopefully I'm not the only one to think this, but when I watch other teams play, I see defensive backs make plays and think after "that would have been PI on us." I'm not a conspiracy guy, nor do I think that ultimately there's some bias involved, but man. I really feel like our guys have to play up...

When it's time to play football, he'll step on the field as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Holding top spots in most, if not all, major passing categories.
100% without a doubt he's still the leader of this team on the field. On Sunday's that's all that matters.

OTC is showing 4 million in dead money being paid to Teddy... Can someone explain this? Is this money we still owed him on his contract?...

re: Be prepared to pick Kenneth Murray in draft

If we don’t trade up, we’re going best available on our first pick. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a lineman drafted. Even a center. McCoy played guard in college. Saints have always played the best 5 linemen they have regardless of position. ...

We’re going to void the 2nd year of the contract and pay it over a 3 to 5 year span. Whatever the maximum is. This was a very team-friendly deal. Right now, I believe we have something around 7mil in c...
