I'd love to see all the big names but just having them in town will be worth the time. ...

This ref's in for an eventful 2nd half. Last thing you want is a desperate Mexican team thinking they can get away with some close ones. ...
"In April 2009, the U.S. identified 70 stadiums in 50 communities as possible venues for the tournament, with 58 confirming their interest.[13] The list of stadia was trimmed two months later to 38 existing venues, one scheduled for completion in 2010, and one proposed venue.[11] On August 20, 2009 ...

re: Yedlin to Liverpool rumor

As long as he is playing. It seems like European teams are buying US players low and hoping for a bargain. This time last year I was praying for overseas interest for any and all of our players... with the WC over I am starting to prefer MLS. ...
Even though they aren't local I suggest watching a Portland or Seattle game if you can catch on on TV. Really great atmosphere and fan support in those two stadiums.
This x100000!!!! He can defend at the international level... he just isn't the the end to end option that we need. I think his skill set is being utilized perfectly right now. ...
I have been in the JJ is (insert any negative adjective) camp for a while. But I thought he played fairly well against Turkey. Seems like he is putting a real effort into being a CDM only and letting MB move into a more offensive position. Probably would have helped if Chandler had kept a little mor...
I would say 40% we do. I will have a much better feeling either way after we play Nigeria. Obviously Germany is a different kind of animal... but we always seem to play up to the big international teams. ...

Can't say I remember Yedlin doing anything that stood out in a negative manner. I actually felt like his defensive play was pretty spot on... he does seem kind of forced when making passes though. I really hope Turkey and Nigeria try and attack... watching us try to break down a bunker defense i...

So about those '94 jerseys

I know there have been a handful of threads about the current WC kits... as well as the '94 denim kit worn by the US. This is a pretty neat article that details how and why the kit came to be. Plus there are a few pictures that are very TD Soccer Board-esk!!!! [link=(http://www.slate.com/blogs/t...
Saying that's irrelevant is absurd. Of course it's relevant. We can't afford for a midfielder to have a 60% pass completion rate. But you're totally right about Cameron not being able to complete a forward pass.
JJ would have most likely put that pass into the third row behind g...

It's at 45 on Rotten Tomatoes right now. The reviews make it sound like a lot of flash and bang, with little to offer in plot and character development. ...

They are literally setting the streets ablaze and battling the police. I don't see how they can actually play this game in the Ukraine. ...
