Absolutely inexcusable that we can’t recruit anyone at serious positions of need.

DL and DB are two incredibly serious positions of need after how atrocious our defense has been all year. I guess we must not have the bags of money that other schools do.

It should be so easy to bring some guys in at those positions and get them instant playing time. Who wouldn’t want to play immediately at one of the best football programs in college football? We produce NFL talent constantly.

Problem is we have no DL coach & our DB coach is a dead man walking.

That’s why guys like Brad Davis & Hankton have a much easier time recruiting

Guys who want to get the league and don't feel like wasting 3 years under HS level coaching?

Only thing I can think is that maybe we don't have the recruiting budget Some other schools have. Since we have to budget better maybe the staff feels they can get more bang for the buck with proven players through the transfer portal at certain positions.

Good news is that both positions should be good to go for next season and we have lots of talent at our disposal. Future is bright.

We thought we would have an elite defensive line this year, but the joke was on us.

Doesn't seem to be affecting Brad Davis in the slightest

The whole NIL thing is such a bullshite talking point. Sure, maybe it affects a handful of elite players, but as you point out, it's not affecting the OL recruiting, which is one of the most coveted positions.

I love how when *we're* the program that needs to replenish its store of talent, it's always "how could these kids possibly want to go somewhere where theyll have to sit the bench?! are they crazy?!" but then when we're the program that's loaded, it's always "how could these kids possibly want to go somewhere so atrocious at their position group. They're clearly afraid of competition and want to be handed the job instead of earning it. That's not the type of kid we want anyway."

It is what it is. When we get sone new coaches at those spots hopefully it won't be used against us in recruiting like it is now. I could see Lindsay stay on as an analyst and we hire a new DL and DB coach. I think House is safe. Lsu has had 5 D coordinators in the last 6 years. It's a personnel issue as well and not juts house

That's pretty much what it is for our DB's right now.

Don’t know about Florida, but I imagine that a lot at A&M hinges on whether position coaches are retained.
From what I’ve read, that’s what is holding some of the players back
