Dechambeau may have lucked out with the NCAA issues at SMU. It appears he has spent his time wisely...to sharpen his game. Is he still a student at SMU or is he a full time golfer withe the amateur tag?

Tried to get out of the office early Friday to hit the course....that did not happen. Get some range time in yesterday after weekend warrior dad duties were done.
It is too damn cold in NELA to golf today or tomorrow.

Some decent golf being played this evening - VJS is doing well...-8 so far in the tourney - through 12 today.
Pissed that I did not get to see any Kisner highlights from his -4 today.
Tried to sneak out of the office this afternoon for 9 - it was beautiful today in NELA...was stuck at work t...

I posted this in the Coaching Changes Board - it pains me as a LaTech fan to lose Juluke - if LSU can land him, I would do it in a minute.
He can recruit and he can coach - he will be missed in Ruston. I think he may be one of the best assistants in the nation.

Guys, I was coming to post this. As an avid LaTech fan, it pains me to lose Juluke - he may be one of the best assistants in the nation....he is damn good.
Go get him - you will not regret it....

As other posters have stated, the BCS was better. No one beside die hard college football fans, Clemson fans and Alabama fans care about the game tomorrow.
The playoff date will have to be moved around to make this thing work.

This is going to be a great PGA Tour season.
Although Speith is kicking butt...there is some quality golf behind him.
Ready for the Masters and Zurich - wish Spieth would play New Orleans....
