Lets see if the GOP can frick this up.
quote:
House Democrats are vowing to put abortion rights at the center of congressional campaigns in the aftermath of a Florida court ruling upholding a strict abortion law and allowing a ballot referendum.
Their campaign arm, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, argues in a new memo obtained first by POLITICO that abortion measures on the ballot in states with competitive House races “further guarantees that reproductive freedom will remain a driving issue for voters this November, putting vulnerable House Republicans and GOP candidates on the hook for their anti-abortion and anti-freedom positions.”
quote:
The DCCC is zeroing in on races in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada and New York — all states that could have an abortion measure on the ballot — with 18 races where Democrats are playing defense or hope to flip GOP-held districts. The party sees abortion as a potential swing-seat turnout booster, pointing to purple-district Rep. Sharice Davids’ (D-Kan.) 2022 win after an abortion referendum was on her state’s ballot and increased turnout in Ohio last cycle.
They’re also hoping to hitch vulnerable Republican incumbents to the GOP’s attempts to restrict abortion at a federal level, such as some House Republicans’ efforts to introduce national abortion bans.
“As ballot initiatives to protect abortion rights keep this issue at the forefront of voters’ minds, vulnerable Republicans will have to face the consequences for their unpopular anti-abortion, anti-freedom records,” the DCCC writes.

They will probably call for a nationwide 6 week ban

How is abortion on the ballot in NY?
They already have legal abortion up until the moment of birth.
Are the dems fighting themselves?

I wish the R’s would make a special referendum election sometime this summer in their states on abortion. Get it out the way now before Nov

"Abortion is now legal up until 9 or 12 months after the parasitic fetus actually leaves the host's body"

They already fricked it up by letting the Bible thumpers hold the megaphone for 20 years and got RvW overturned by a 7-2 SCOTUS.
Is abortion an abomination? Absolutely. That won’t stop 80% of women voting for it. KANSAS KENTUCKY MONTANA have ALL tried to enshrine precious life in the state constitutions and ALL failed.
OHIO had abortion BANNED and then an amendment was approved by voters by 57%(wtf) to put it in the state constitution. Ohio hasn’t elected a president with 57% in FOURTY YEARS, but the women came together for killing babies.
AZ, FL, NV are gone. MT and NB will stay…but with AZ and FL we need pre-dementia Raegan to stand a chance. So fkn sad

Nope. Just fighting an imaginary enemy in hopes of bolstering turnout.
As if they even need to bolster turnout in the People's Republic of New York.

They wont stop until they can legally kill anyone regardless of age if you're in any way a hinderance to society or if they don't like how you think. Abortion along with euthanasia is their end game.

So its on the ballot.
Thats what the supreme court decided. They didnt take away anything, they simply said it should have stayed a state issue and never been a federal one. So let the states decide.
Its not going to decide who wins on the ballot, regardless of all the "hand wringers" the average person cares about the economy and whether he will get his skull cracked by some hombre.

No way. Other than Texas, Florida and a few other red states with a population over 4 million, America doesn't care about The Border. It ranks just beneath foreign policy on the indifference meter.
The economy and inflation are more pressing issues, but generally Americans prefer stronger government intervention in economic direction-- raising the minimum wage, price controls, more equity in the workforce, etc.
Abortion and access to women's reproductive rights and healthcare will determine the outcome in swing state national elections, as well as about 20 Congressional seats.

According to the article, this isn’t on the ballets as of now. It is wishful thinking for Dems to have it put on them.

Single issue which will lead to massive RINO losses.

Already is.
The turnip and Yertle both work for Beijing. As does the governor of the most populated state.

Modern Social Justice has led us here...
quote:
“There is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed that all right-thinking people will accept without question. It is not exactly forbidden to say this, that or the other, but it is ‘not done’ to say it, just as in mid-Victorian times it was ‘not done’ to mention trousers in the presence of a lady. Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with surprising effectiveness."
Orwell.
Saw this in an article about JK Rowling.
