Anyone ever been to this? Is it worth the trip over?
Does anyone know where a schedule is for it? All I can find is times for the crawfish cookoff, but not the racing.

I go to Speedtour in Austin, almost every year. Good time for all ages.

Good deal, they have awful advertising here. I finally found an event schedule on some random facebook page.

I'll be there all weekend. Fun event that you can see all of the cars up close. The Trans Am series is awesome to watch (and hear).

NOLA Motorsports wonders why they have trouble staying afloat. I don't have Book of Faces and it is next to impossible to find info on events going on out there. I quit trying.
Not to mention, I didn't think they would survive the lawsuits after that guy got killed doing the high speed mile (or half mile or whatever it was) race a couple of years ago.

Going to bring an 8 year old, Im thinking if we catch the Trans Am qualifying and the TA2 race he might be alright with that.

Many owners are very open to allowing your kid an up close look, or sit in the driver's seat.

This right here. I worked there years ago and you would have thought the words "marketing" or "advertising" were foreign words to them. The owner refuses to market the venue to anyone other than corporate events or national races. They rely solely on facebook and their website to get information out about upcoming events, and even then don't include much information.
There is so much turnover with employees over there they probably can't keep track of what events they have coming up throughout the year. They've been through like 5 GMs in the last 10 years.

Click on the official race schedule for everything you need to know.
They were just here at Sebring, good time! The T2 race had at least 46 cars take the green flag.
Thats a kick arse schedule, better than the other one I found.

I am going Saturday with my kids. For the price, it should be a nice family time and fun.
