re: Former LSU QB Rohan Davey: Blueprint to stop LSU, Brandon Harris is easy - brg0320
LSU was 7th in the NCAA last season in yards per completion. They're up there where they need to be with other teams that rely on a strong rushing attack and take shots downfield when safetys begin coming down (Baylor, Oregon, etc) Essentially Baylor does the same thing out of more of a spread lo...

re: Moses Malone Jr. claims Harden's entourage robbed him at gunpoint - brg0320
Is that out of line with most pro athlete camps
Not nearly on the same level, but I worked a camp last weekend ran by a former NFL starter. He wanted to give to the community, so he ran a FREE camp, invited friends of his in the league as well as guys in our area to help coach. The...

re: Netflix documentary: Last Chance U - brg0320
Like I said, I haven't taken a look at it yet. I didn't realize it was that remote a location. Many Jucos are in the middle of nowhere, but I'd imagine that's gotta be the most rural...plus with all the success they've had on top of that, could be worth a watch...

re: Netflix documentary: Last Chance U - brg0320
That's pretty much true. I know a lot of Jucos won't put up with behavior issues when recruiting, just like NCAA. But I know there are schools that take guys in with criminal backgrounds and use the "second chance" or "last chance" reasoning And I'm speaking about football, can't really speak for...

re: Netflix documentary: Last Chance U - brg0320
I haven't seen it yet, but every JUCO can be considered "last chance U" If youre playing juco ball, you either got in trouble, have really poor grades, or weren't recruited out of HS. That's pretty much it--last chance...

re: Narendra Itwaru- The next Honey Badger? - brg0320
NY HS football isn't very good, and if all you're going by are those HUDL highlights..you could find hundreds more just like it. Congrats to the kid and I hope he succeeds, but hold tight on the next Honey Badger title...

re: So Moo St, Texas Tech, and A&M look to be going down - brg0320
ECU got a favorable draw but so do a lot of teams and they really take advantage of it. Texas Tech had no business being a national seed
ECU should have been a 2 seed, but as a 3, they had one of the easiest regionals and a great draw in the super regionals. May end up getting TCU...

re: Football Offseason Question - 4 TE sets - brg0320
Like in basketball, spacing is required. You need recievers to occupy defenders on different parts of the field (take them deep, etc), to allow TEs to be effective, generally.
Well...unlike basketball, there's still a time and place for condensed sets. Auburn will reduce their wi...

re: Football Offseason Question - 4 TE sets - brg0320
You've got to be physically better up front and utilize shifts and unbalances to create a numbers advantage. I agree, it has to be more of a supplemental thing; however, I believe Stanford packages it well....

re: Football Offseason Question - 4 TE sets - brg0320
With the proliferation of the TE in both college and the NFL, and with defenses inability to stop them effectively, why would a college coach at a smaller job (think Indiana or Oregon State) not try out a 4 TE set? There are way more good pass catching TEs these days, and they obviously are a...
