With this transfer business the hottest thing going, What is this going to do with the topic of recruiting. You get the recruits ,but after a year or two they all go somewhere else. It's like this number #1 recruit didn't really do much for us. Recruiting has always been a status thing. It was who is the top recruiter. You might get top recruits, but how much can you do if they only stay a couple years. Not many of them are a success overnight. This transfer will kill college football.

The SEC will use other conferences as the minor leagues. You will see fewer and fewer hs kids signing with the SEC.

You’ll see less diamond in the rough D2 kids get drafted unless it’s a late bloomer that blew up at a workout.
Studs at that level will attempt a move up for some NIL action. Lower level college coaches are definitely concerned about it.
D2 player of the year is in the transfer portal…it’s going to be interesting to see how it effects the FCS and lower levels

It’s like a pre draft draft. Kids who show real talent in fcs or g5 most likely won’t finish their careers there.

quote:Its their choice to go were they please , but us FCS teams will more likely benefit from the portal than lose talent to P5's. Alabama A & M & Jackson State are having a P5 transfer portal war down here.
