re: ecobee3 questions - LSUJay13
I have the same system and we have 1 child still living in the house, so I bought the pack with 2 extra remote sensors (the main unit comes with one remote sensor). I placed one in the master and one in my son's room along with the main unit in a hallway and the other remote sensor in the livin...

re: How do you break it to your kids when you have to go away for work? - LSUJay13
If you feel bad about it, they will sense that something is wrong and think they should be sad you are leaving. But if you are a man about it and are honest with them and tell them you will be going out of town for work, but will be back in a few weeks it will be easier on them. Don't be a pus...

Ecobee 3 for thermostat - $250 for the unit with one remote sensor, then $70 for each additional set of sensors. I installed mine a week or so ago and will never look back. I had a non-wifi 7 day programmable Honeywell before, but this one is amazing with the remote sensors. I bought 1 extra ...
