re: Should the Republicans Propose a Single Payer Plan? - DaGarun
You do realize that it is insurance companies that keep raising your rates, right?
I'm not gonna knight too hard for insurance companies because they are all cronied up, but its not like the politicians are blameless in this. Name Your Top 10 Most Influential Books - DaGarun
Personally influential that is...and why. I will go first: I read mostly Non-Fiction, so it’s tough to say most of my fare would be widely “influential”, so I will intersperse some books that I just put down afterward and said “wow... that was a damn good read”, or put down and was speechless,...

re: Recommend a book series - DaGarun
Does anyone know how to moderate a "contest" thread? Might be fun to nominate, rank, and vote on book series that we enjoyed. Could ask for sticky and keep ranking in first post for reference. If not ranking, then at least a list to reference...

Drawing of the Three was my favorite, I think the series is worth picking up if you are interested. Plus, there are themes in this series that ring throughout the King universe if you read a lot of his stuff....

It doesn't matter one bit if the guy is 15 or 50, racist or not. CNN would have been wrong to publish his info outright in the first place. But somehow the way they handled it feels even worse to me....
