Anyone have experience in this? Positive or Negative?...
We stayed at the Miller Tree Inn B&B in Forks a few years ago. It was nice. Good breakfast. Less than an hour from Hoh. There are not many places to stay in that area. ...

Mezzanine. Great margaritas and happy hour. Good beach down the steps...
Does anyone have any experience with the company handling their 401k? It is under the Paychex umbrella, a payroll/HR company. My company is switching to that from Fidelity, so I'm a bit concerned....

Edmunds Oast The Ordinary The Obstinate Daughter Home Team BBQ I thought SNOB was very overrated - not good. ...
I've seen all the Charleston recs on this board and took y'all up on many of them. I got dinner reservations at Edmund's Oast, The Ordinary, and SNOB. I tried to get reservations at Husk and FIG, but couldn't get one for the times I wanted. However, I did get on the waiting lists at both. If som...

Just went to Park Hyatt New York with my wife's free nights. Incredible hotel. Regular $1200/night when we went. Currently, looking for another place to use my 2 free nights. Leaning towards Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. The St. Kitts resort looks pretty awesome...might be worth waiting til it's ...
is winning a championship the only qualifier for "fantastic"?
Way to avoid the question.... No, a championship isn't the only qualifier. However, for a school and fan base that think we should win championships all the time, it is important. All I'm trying to say is O shoul...
There are plenty of realistic options that have proven to be better HCs than O
Can you name them? And some of their fantastic head coaching credentials? I really only see one coach with a NC that we have a might shot at and that's Jimbo....
I would like him to prove that he can be a fantastic head coach before hiring him at LSU
Yea, I would like to see that too but we don't have that luxury. LSU fans think all the best coaches in the world are going to come begging for the job. That's not the case. Jimbo isn't gua...
interim coach =/= HC
While interim head coach, he has all head coaching duties. He's 9-2. Yes, that is better than his record at ole miss. ...
19-27? Let's hire him!
Also, 9-2 in his last 11. If LSU continues to pay top dollar to get the best assistants, O will be fine has a head coach. You can't argue he's not a better coach now than he was at Ole Miss....

I always see these recommendations. Isn't it nearly impossible to get a reservation? Realistically, can you even get a table here for dinner at normal dinner hours?...
Since you are staying in Yachats, you need to drive over to Newport and eat at Local Oceans Seafood. It is very good. Roasted Garlic & Dungeness Crab soup, Fisherman's Stew, Moqueca de Piexe, Crab Poboy. You can put your name and cell phone down and walk around the town til your table is ready. T...
Day trip to the Columbia River Gorge is a must do. Take the Mt. Hood Loop. You can stop and see waterfalls right off the road and go on short hikes. Full Sail Brewery is in Hood River and pretty solid for lunch and beer. It gets pretty crowded. Lots of Wind surfing at Hood River if you are into...

Lafayette Housing Market

Posted by Grits N Gravy on 2/16/16 at 12:35 pm
I'm interested in potentially buying a rental property in the Lafayette area. My thinking is I can find a good deal with the oil industry in the dumps right now. Anybody have rentals in the area that can provide feedback? Or anyone more connected to the real estate market there? Thanks ...

Bayou City Seafood & Pasta on Richmond is the closest thing to good Cajun food. Seafood Courtbouillon, fried catfish and red beans (lunch only I believe) are both really good. Good seafood pastas as well. Stay away from the crawfish etouffee (too bland) and the Poboys....
