re: CPM went too long with Poche? - wilfont
Leaving in or yanking a starting pitcher who is cruising along is one of the hardest decisions a coach will make during a tight game. There is no way any coach is going to be 100% successful with their decision making process. I'm guessing Poche and Dunn had some input as well. ...

re: Mett Wants a Trade according to Agent - wilfont
I agree with you and apologize for misinterpreting your post. Mett should've kept his mouth shut because I'm not sure even the Titans know what have at this point.
No hard feelings. Not always easy to interpret a post until follow up clarification is added....

re: Mett Wants a Trade according to Agent - wilfont
Said it in MSB and I'll repeat myself
You really didn't have to repeat yourself since I never implied Mariota's chances for success is directly related to the lack of success suffered by previous Oregon QB's. The point being made is that no starting NFL QB should assume the draft pi...

re: Mett Wants a Trade according to Agent - wilfont
Mett should play on and forget the trade demands. Mariota is just as likely to continue the pround Oregon tradition of flop first round QB's as not. Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, Chris Miller were world beaters coming out of Eugene as well....

re: What is the racial makeup of the officers charged for Freddie Gray? - wilfont
We had the term white hispanic born out of the Martin case. Perhaps its not too far from the absurd, if any of the officers are black, to have "white negro" coined here....

re: Justified: Season 6 Episode 13: The Promise ** Series Finale** - wilfont
Does anyone else hope Boyd gets some of the money and gets out of town?
Until this season I had a begrudging respect for Boyd. They turned him into a mindless killer this season for a reason. I don't see him getting out alive....

re: Justified Season 6, Episode 12 "Collateral" - wilfont
I believe they have been making Boyd more and more psychopathic and ruthless this season in order to make his death more, well, justified. A lot of viewers have come to admire Boyd over the years but he's been anything but admirable this season. I think he dies. For me the best ending would hav...

re: Cam says Fournette is most improved player on offense - wilfont
That's gratifying and disheartening at the same time. With the poor QB play LSU got last year it shouldn't take much for one of the QB's to be the most improved. Great to see Leonard making strides though. ...

re: how does Bregmans power project in the majors? - wilfont
Some recent college star, and I forget who, said they found professional pitching easier to hit than college pitching because at the pro level he was seeing better pitches to take his cuts then in college where he barely saw one good pitch per at bat. Coaches have been pitching around Bregman fo...

re: Shameless Season 5 Thread - wilfont
The only character I remotely like on this show is Kevin. He's a good natured dumb guy who, despite his obvious shortcomings, demonstrates actual redeeming values most of the time. All the Gallagers, not named Liam, are disgusting. ...

re: Bloomberg ‘considering’ running for mayor of London - wilfont
The problem in America seems to be that both parties mouth pieces reign from the more extreme elements of the party.
I don't know if that's the case with the GOP. If anything, their voice seems to resonate from the establishment portion of the party far too much for my liking....

re: Rolling Stone's Sexist View of Women is Demeaning - wilfont
Coincides with congresswoman Barbara Lee's recent remarks on women having to resort to prostitution in the aftermath of a future global warming catastrophe. I suppose, in the congresswoman's opinion, there are no other survival options available to women. ...
